I am 6 classes away from my bachelor's degree in Forensic Science. Am I able to go direct commission with my degree. Also, what I read about Direct commission so far is not good help at all... what I read you can go direct commission if you have a degree in the medical field legal field such as judge.....please help

Only certain MOSs are offered direct commissions. Typically those are medical types (doctors, nurse, dentists, etc), attorneys going into JAG and chaplains. Not sure your degree qualifies you for any of those. Likely you will have to go through the normal commissioning process (in your case OCS).

Not true. You can direct commission into any branch. I did so into signal. It ebbs and flows but depends on needs of the army and qualifications of the individual.

I am in IT , got direct commissioned into 70D AOC in the reserves.

Direct Commission is a board packet through the reserves. It is preferred that your degree be in a military field, but not a deal breaker. If the military approves your commission and the degree does not directly correspond with a branch they will look at what is similar and/or what your enlisted MOS was.
