So I am in an RFX deployable unit, can you reclass or transfer out of an RFX unit?

lol. You can always try but seeing that your a private and just starting on your contract your command does not have to transfer you to another unit. Have to give them a good reason why.

PFC (Join to see) - Well bring it up your COC first. Then speak with the 1sg of the other unit they will usually want to talk to you before they even bring you in. Then the 4187 ect has to be approved for a transfer to a new unit. But remember your unit just wasted money on training you so chances are the BC might not want to transfer you until you have been with the unit for awhile.

I was already at a different a unit that unit closed down so I transferred to the unit I’m at now SFC(P) (Join to see)

PFC (Join to see) - Were you already MOS qualified when you came to this new unit or did they send you to MOS school already? I usually support my soldiers if they live far and find a closer unit but it would depend on if we just sent them to DSA or ncoes or mos school the CO wouldn't sign off on a transfer regardless. But a hardship occurs you traveling 3 hours the BC would probably sign off on a transfer if the new unit would accept you.

Yes I was already MOS qualified and the new unit will take me I have all the forms and everything SFC(P) (Join to see)
