Credit where credit is due
Military giving thanks
Some of us have had really awesome careers, some excellent, and some not so great.
Some of us served four and done, some kept going after 20, 30, even 40 years of service.
Some of us have had multiple combat tours, some of us had desolate deployments, and missed combat altogether.
When you look forward or look back, we often give credit...for our blessings, for the good things, for the dreams-come-true... to someone, to something....but to what and to who?
Was it a peer, a colleague, a spouse, a CO, or a PL, or perhaps a buddy in another unit? Or maybe just yourself...

Who gives credit to God for their time, their ability, their health, for the very sun, rain and oxygen they breath?

If you are atheist, who do you give credit to? Your parents? Your siblings?

Give credit where it is due. Post your story! If you've been blessed...you should share.

Where do I give credit for my life? Well to me of course. I am the one who made my decisions. I am the one who dealt the repercussions of my actions. I am the one who went out on the limb. I am the one who swam beyond my endurance. I am the one who charge forward when others fell back. I am the one who stood up for those unable to stand up for themselves. I have done all these things. There were no others to take the credit from me. I have been heavily influenced by many people in my life. But I only give them credit for what they have accomplished not for what I have accomplished. I do not steal credit from others, as well I do not give mine away.

Where do I give credit for my life? Well to me of course!

Where does credit go for my life?

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

John 3:17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

That's it. Lock, stock and barrel...

I give credit to life and its journey.

All of it means everything and shapes me and in my opinion all of us.
