Trying to relcass to 42A any insight on how it will be ? And if I have my P status without ALC will my P status go away by reclassing ? Thanks in advance. I’m active Duty.

Your Promotable (P) status will transfer ONLY IF you have a copy of the board proceedings where you were recommended for promotion AND the S-1 clerk at your unit properly entered the promotion board recommendations into eMILPO.
As for ALC, per regulations, if you do not complete ALC within a certain timeframe, you can be administratively reduced, or lose your promotable status. That is something units cannot get around. Big Army (TRADOC) now controls NCOES OMLs, so assuming you have WLC/BLC, you should be on the OML for ALC.
