I am currently attempting to become a Flight Warrant Officer for the Army. The process seems simple, but is there any Warrant Officers who can walk me through the process and/or help me with the process? I am a Civilian looking to go into the Army, as a WOFT, and I am currently studying for the SIFT and looking for people to obtain LOR's from.

Purely as a thought, aside from looking to see where there's maybe a USAR or ARNG helicopter unit near you, you might call them, ask where the nearest chapter is, and try to go over for a meeting, or ask the staff how they typically handle referring such requests....

Well, that would depend on your location. Are you near any military installations?

I live in Southern California, I do believe there are some bases near my location.

You might care to look through this for the California aviation units in the South by you....
