Let’s take it back a couple months. I was trying to get waivers to come back in as prior service (RE3 code). I was kicked out for a misconduct charge. I was found not guilty and charges dropped 5 MONTHS after being kicked out. My unit kicked me out before any kind of disposition. Come to find out I was wrongfully arrested as they were looking for someone else. Anyway, can anyone shed light on how the waivers process works now? Is it back to how it was before a ton of people got disqualified for ASVAB scores? Or am I wasting my time again.

You may want to consider correction of your record first, based solely on your post. If your separation was based solely on a matter brought by civil authorities, which the civil authorities cleared you of, you may stand a good chance at getting your record corrected. If your record is corrected it may be possible that you may no longer require a waiver.
I'm sure a search here will provide a link to the process.
If you weren't clear, even though charges may have been dropped, it will be a taller hurdle. Burden of proof is on you.

From my current position I believe their letting USAREC take care of some waivers like they used to due to heavy workload for the surgeon general . Just resubmitted my paperwork to Meps & my written statement hopefully I’ll hear back in a week or two

You need to reach out to your local recruitment office, they will know what Army office you can submit the appeal to. It sounds like a no brained unless you are leaving something out. Thank you for your service b

Follow my guidance but it is up to you to help resolve and if corrected you will probably not require a USAREC waiver of the RE 3 code.
