One of the worst things is housing not ready when you are to move in. Our housing had ants, cockroaches, and mice when we moved into it. Because it is condo style living they only do pest control in your section of that one building. The pests end up just moving to another location. Home remedies have saved us. It felt very unwelcoming. We have some friends who are here on post and had a similar experience. Their "move in ready" housing had burnt carpet and animal stench. Sad!

BTDT, finally bought a new mobile home before my wife left me. I did have a good experience at New London CT, but they were individual homes.

Corvias making all this money off the military and sitting on there ass. Corvias set up rules and hide behind them in certain situations. For example my soldier had a ban breed (it was his first pet he didn’t know) he was told he lost his pet privileges while living to that base and he could appeal the decision but he has 72 hours and it must be sign off by you BN Commander. Everyone in the military knows the age old saying “ Hurry up and wait” there’s no way the BN commander would have sign of in 72 hours. I seen other pet owners with ban breeds in housing.
