I have an RE-3G discharge code. I was working with a US Army recruiter for a while and went to MEPS over the past Summer. I passed every single portion of the physical but required a psych eval for my discharge code in order to continue processing. I have not been PDQ but my recruiter has not sent up my Psych eval that I obtained from the VA. The Eval shows that I am psychologically sound. I have not heard back from my recruiter. The last time I contacted them was October 16th. I have gone so far as calling recruiting Command and the Meps Liasion. I am determined to Send this paperwork up and have them contact the recruiter to continue processing and ship. This is the only thing standing between me and choosing an MOS.

No, that's not how the system works.
RE-3G: Condition (not physical disability) interfering with the performance of duty.
VA psychiatrist evaluation only impacts your treatment there and possibly a reduction in any compensation for the condition.

1SG (Join to see) Yes I had one once after they reviewed my discharge code. They did not find any military records and did not find anything wrong psychologically. They could not come to a conclusion on disability or compensation.

AN Kae Graham then that will have no bearing on your ability to reenlist. The decision to separate you was not made lightly, and the documentation required supported that decision. Best wishes.

As a former recruiter, I can tell the type of waiver you need is a complicated, time consuming affair. When I was recruiting, they went to the bottom of the stack. I only worked them when I had absolutely nothing else going on or I gave them to another recruiter that was hurting to make mission. It would seem to even the most casual observer the recruiter you are working with is giving you the brush off.

I have been updated on the situation. I don’t require a waiver. This was all at the discretion of Meps Doctors. They only need me to hand the paperwork to my recruiter to send up. Got in touch with recruiter for the first time in a while and heard great news. They will send it up to the Liasion soon.

AN Kae Graham a RE3G requires a waiver to enlist. You need to tell your recruiter to re read AR 601-210

No you can't sent it to the MEPS. Only recruiter can do it. Re/3 are disqualified for two yrs. Then require re code waiver.
