Has anyone else have experience or advice on difficulties getting back into the military due to medical issues?

Had a motorcycle accident while active duty, I've been trying to get back in as NG. Went to private doctor and done a cognitive scan were results were good and doctor said fit for duty. At this point my recruiter does know what else to do. I wanna serve again but this is my hold up. Anyone similar experience or advice they can feed. I thank you

Right here! Medically boarded only after a X-ray was done to see I have scoliosis. I did my job perfectly fine and ranked the highest. Out out to discover my pain was only cause by a muscle sprain. Which heal and I do more pt than while on active duty

Yes when I was in the Marine Corps IRR back in 2008 I wanted to get back Active Duty. Marine Corps didn't want us prior service so I went down the hallway to the Army recruiter. Thought they would love a good E-4 Cpl from the Marine Corps. Boy did MEPS give me hell like I was a POS. They brought up when I originally enlisted back in 2001 I smoked pot in high school but I didn't put it on the report when I was there. Like seriously I'm still in the Military being in the IRR I did 4 years active 2 In the regular reserve. Then they brought up my Knee Surgery I had on Active Duty forced me to get a waiver even though I passed a APFT that same morning. It was crazy going back to that place.

Just play the game with MEPS. Show that you have no Physical limitations and let your recruiter do his/her job.
