Took an apft, terminated for running (am a walker)/insufficient evidence & graded unfairly. Signed an waiver to wave my 2 diagnostics to take a second after just 2weeks later. Failed situps by 3. About to talk to our company commander as to why I should still be retained. My question is, is it 3 soft failures to get chaptered out? & that's the exact regulation?

I sort of doubt that. I would think that you would have to fail APFTs administered by BN CMD personnel functioning as an objective or neutral arbiter.
Irrespective as to whether I am correct or not, I would expect every member of the unit to have the right of appeal to very senior authority or the IG (though I would make the IG my very last stop).

Solid advice... hit up the AWC and get your metabolic conditions tested as well if not already done.

Man, wear to begin! Failed the sit-ups, terminated for running during a walk. SPC you have only one choice to make...am I going to be a soldier, or is it time for me to move on. If you have such a difficult time meeting the APFT requirements now, the new PT test is going to tear you up...decide, be the best soldier you can be...which includes committing to maintaining my Physical abilities to support yourself and your team mates as a soldiers, if you're just there for the money/job...its time to move on...because if the APFT doesn't get you the deployability will. Time to soldier or time to move on, its your decision, and only you control your future. Pass the APFT and all this goes away, simple.
