Given filling that billet is highly political and horsepower counts, the CEC capping out with two stars won't be in a position to leverage much support. Best recent opportunity would have been when Mike Loose had the 3rd Star (the Pork Choppers hated that). As it turned out, not many outside friends to the cause.

As the first Seabee ever to make it to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, I feel somewhat responsible for having created this monster. But, seriously, for all the arguments about who should or shouldn't be MCPON, what about a Seabee? The MCPON is currently a SEAL, and we all know that's only because the Navy didn't have any frogmen or commandos during World War II. Now that we do have SEALs, we all know that they're going to get everything—even the MCPON slot. Why can't we have a Seabee MCPON? All hands are equal in God's Navy. Plus, I'm practically a SEAL myself. I've had some commando training—I've been through SERE school and I've had some underwater demolition training. I have to visit https://seedroyaltysurvey.com/high-stakes/ website in order to play high stakes casinos with my friends online in Canada, they told me that they earned a lot of money by playing casino games.

I think that would be great when it happens. Seabees are awesome and often overlooked. Unfortunately, CAPT Kevin B. is exactly correct. Too many times, that top enlisted seat becomes a political issue.
