Hello all!
I was just recently boarded for an AMEDD 70B Direct Commission on November 13th. However it's been a few weeks and the status on my application went from "Pending Board Results" to "Pending Appointment." Could anyone enlighten me on what that means? I suppose the wait for this board results is coming from the holidays, but we can all understand the struggle of patience!
Thanks!!

So the fun just begun Cameron. Its the process to get you through appointing you as an officer ( iwhich later leads into Pending Scroll ( aka @ congress ) to eventually just awaiting you to commission.
The process can be slow especially at the holidays. Patience is key. I wouldn't worry about it much.

Thank you so much Lieutenant for the fast response! Its been mostly a matter of me asking myself "Was I selected, or Order of Merited" or what! So I suppose I will just continue exercising my patience!

2LT (Join to see) - so I went back to my old emails between myself and my recruiter basically answered that when I was in that status I was selected , because it was a matter of time to be in "pending commission"
I wouldn't say the pending appointment is = selected but I would say , you are in a good spot right now.

Pending appointment means all waivers or processes have been met, now your recruiter is waiting for the official notification from Health Service Directorate (HSD) to schedule a commissioning ceremony. Congratulations, you’re almost there!

1LT (Join to see) is you are trying to access it to complete an application (background check), then you can only do that when they send you a web link with ID and Password. If you’re asking to check the status of a pending investigation, then you would need to speak with you unit S2 or security mananger. If you are no longer in the service, then you’ll need to get that status from your rectwho will have to ask the HSD S2. I hope this helps.
