I’m NG. My husband is active duty. I’m in ga and he’s in Texas. He told me to do MACP, but I’m trying to figure out why. I’m a PFC and he’s a PV2. My RNCO doesn’t text back so I rather ask on here. Also,

I don't understand your question. Since he is Active duty you are his dependent. MACP is only for Active Duty to help get stationed together.
All he needs to do is make sure he has filed the proper information with his S-1 shop (birth cert, ssn, and marriage cert) and deers. You are authorized to move with him since you are his dependent. But now the tricky part since NG is state and your not in USAR it is harder to get the paperwork filed out to just do an easy switch. Get with your COC/UA and start the process to switch to texas ng since you have a valid reason your husband being on Active Duty. Talk to a retention and see what other options are available to you.
