A year ago I was told that prior Army infantry can only enlist under a tier mos in the Air Force (TACP, CCT, PJ). Is this still true??

Well in my case I am switching over with my current MOS to the Air Force. But you CAN switch over and retrain into another MOS, just a longer process from what I understand.

SPC Bradly Martin - Did you ask about retraining? Another thing that happened to me was it was incredibly hard for me to find an Air Force recruiter willing to help me out they all pushed me away.. Later I was informed that they don't even get credit for us "prior service " service members which is a lot of paperwork for them and nothing in return.

SPC Bradly Martin Wait! They told you that Security Forces wasn't needed?!? Are you going active, or guard/reserve? If active, Security Forces is ALWAYS needed!
Tac-P, PJ, CCT, Combat Weather are special ops, and there is no direct switching over.
I have not heard that you're removed from the Air Force if you fail out of the pipeline, just reclassed to something else, and you can choose to try out again at a later date, when you're ready, and if you're accepted back into the pipeline.

Nope. I was told special ops or they wouldn’t take me. Then I was told I had to make it through or I’d be out, no reclassing
