Once you have started the process for an interstate transfer in the National guard is there any way to cancel the request?

I moved about 6 months ago and filed for an ist two months ago due to some family issues I am looking to move back to the state that I was originally from is there a way to cancel the ist process befor it is finished without looking unprofessional?
