I just transferred from the Army National Guard to Active Duty. Will I be paid on the 1st and 15th like everyone else or should I expect a lag in pay? Thoughts? Experience?

You get paid on the 1st and 15th, but you get paid at the end of the month.
If you just joined, it's too late in the pay period to catch the mid month pay, so you won't get paid till the 1st.

Hey I actually returned back to active duty last year on December 27th and didn't get paid till February 15th. Just be ready for the installation to take long, it all depends on the duty station you end up at. Good luck with the transition.

Yes, you should. However, your first check might be lagged due to the guard account being switched over.
