Pretty good article in veteranstoday.com. So, is America letting PTSD kill our troops? I found a part that really hit home for me as instead of diagnosing me with PTSD, I was diagnosed with depression with anxiety disorder (or something like that). I asked the VA head doctor and he said that this is a trend. It is being sold as 'the same as PTSD, but without the stigma'. It happens that that diagnosis is rated a lot lower than PTSD as well...
"...Oftentimes the VA misdiagnoses PTSD as a pre-existing personality disorder, or claims the symptoms are the result of an adjustment disorder, which is considered temporary and renders a veteran ineligible for disability benefits..."
So what say you RP community, is America letting PTSD kill our troops?

I haven't been diagnosed with PTSD or whatever they want to call it but I do have the anxiety you speak of as well as periods of depression.
