PCS-ing to Germany next Spring and just curious about the housing situation on Graf. Not sure what unit I'm going to yet; just talked to branch week before last and the projection hasn't hit my ERB yet.
I've seen conflicting information; a memo on the Bavaria Housing FB page saying everyone will live on base until base housing is full, but other official pages saying E1-E6 have to live on base, but nothing about SFC w/dependents. I queried the FB page admins about senior enlisted housing and they said to look at the photo albums on the page...none of which are for Senior Enlisted Housing on Graf.

Sounds like you are going to 44th ESB, really good unit. If you school aged children best area for housing is netzaberg I retired from there in 2015

After my wife and I retired she got a job with the justice department. We were assigned to the Frankfurt Consolate for 3 yrs, from 06-09. Graffiti has been completely rebuilt with new family housing. Sure is different when I was there from77-79. It was a read s..t hole with very little family housing. Good luck. Graffiti is now one of the better assignments.
