I am currently transitioning out of active duty army. I served 8 years, so I get full benefits of my post 9/11 GI Bill. However, I am married to an active duty soldier. I was wondering would I still receive my tuition, books, and housing allowance while attending school full time? Even though he is recieving BAH as well. I have read about a spouse recieving TRANSFERED GI bill and not receiving housing allowance while spouse is active duty, but I feel my situation is very different since I earned mine.. ??

Since it's your own benefit, you'll still receive the BAH:
