Hello All,
I am currently a 74A weighing my options on becoming an MP or joining CID and would like input from those who have been through the VTIP process either for the reserves or active duty. I have more knowledge and education in law enforcement and would appreciate any input.
Thank you.
Note: Please refrain from commenting if you have nothing nice to say or no valuable input towards my career.

You can become an MP Officer and be part of a CID unit, but CID Special Agents are enlisted and warrant officer personnel. If you have an interest in managing, go MP Officer route; but if you have an interest in being an investigator, go CID. It's the most rewarding job ever (I'm biased) I started out as an MP and after five years became an agent and never regretted my move. US Army CID Command has their own web page or visit your post, camp or station CID officer to learn more.
