PCS'd from DLI to Campbell and post housing in CA stopped our BAH and we're having a rough time restarting it. We're getting reduced BAH for sure which isn't the problem, I'm just trying to find the rules for whether housing was suplosed to force stop our BAH as soon as we left since we had to redo paperwork from scratch to start it at the new duty location.

I’m not understanding what you’re trying to say because housing does not have the authority nor do they have access to the pay system in order to stop your BAH. Are you sure it wasn’t your finance office that changed your BAH? Whenever you PCS to a new duty station you have to re-certify your BAH using the DA Form 5960. Have you arrived to your new station? Have you had your finance appt at your new duty station yet? The BAH for the California area stops the day you depart that installation. The finance office at the losing installation may have changed in prior to you leaving so you wouldn’t occur a debt.

On post housing stopped/started out BAH 3 times bc their system kept double charging us and stopping it for a month was how they "refunded" us the money. We've been at the new duty station since August and still haven't seen any BAH but it should happen any day now

The housing office has the authority to start/stop/change allotments which is how you pay them rent. With that said housing should stopped your allotment and you should have continued to received BAH and your last PDS's rate until the day you sign in to your new duty location.

Sounds like you lived on on-post housing. Your housing entitlement should continue until you report to your new duty station, at which point finance will re-certify you BAH entitlement. I would not worry to much about it.
