Yes, and you will be returned at a minimum with enough time to do the mandatory ACAP events and clear.
My experience is:
Good leadership does not do that to good Soldiers.
Bad leadership is indifferent and looks at what is best for them personally.
Good leadership is indifferent to poor or marginal Soldiers wants and considers the units needs which may be counter to an individuals wants.

There is a MILPER Message that provides guidance to Commanders. Soldiers must be allow to return at least 90 days prior to their ETS in order to have enough time to transition out.

SGM (Join to see) I remember the message but not its specifics, seems to me it had a bit more detail and possibilities that it covered then just a flat 90 days.
By chance can you hunt that message up and post a link please.

I am looking for it, unfortunately the HRC webpage is not the most friendlier. More to follow SGM Erik Marquez

SGM (Join to see) - There are only 15 pages of "active messages" I read all of those message titles that are active and unless they did some slight of hand in naming the message I did not spot anything in the Active messages dealing with ETS , schools and deployment.
All of the ones referencing ETS or school attendance and deployment I found in a search were no longer valid.
Im starting to think there is no current guidance. Might take an email to HRC and just ask...I can view stuff on HRC still, but do not think they will respond to my questions
