Have you lived through an IED, AP, or AT mine exploding?

One of our teams in Desert Storm struck an AP mine while we were marking a minefield for Allied troops to Exfil......the tire was blown off the HUMVEE.
Our HUMVEE was heavily sandbagged, no one was seriously injured...what is your story?
Were you seriously injured?
Did you lose anyone?
What would you of done different?

I have survived multiple rocket attacks.
I have seen the after effects of IED but fortunately no one I know was seriously injured.
We did lose someone to a rocket attack. Very sad day for sure.

Oh and have been involved in a couple of those chemical (Chlorine) attacks.
Watching the Apache's light them up was amazing to see in action.

I have seen and heard many SCUD's flying overhead while in Desert Storm, the day became night with all the oil wells burning, and night became pitch black. Nothing like waking up daily and being oil soaked.
