Where's the most interesting place you've eaten while in the military?

I've eaten at various locations around the world, always trying local cuisine in addition to the "local take" on popular American restaurants, in every port I stopped in while on Submarines.

I would have to say, though, that the most interesting place I every ate was on my first boat. We were doing a "Magellan" cruise (around the world) prior to decommission going from Connecticut to Hawaii the LONG way around. One day we surfaced in the middle of the Indian Ocean for a swim call and a "Steel Beach" picnic, where the cooks brought a small grill topside, fired it up, and did burgers and dogs. That was the most interesting place I've ever eaten.
