The BAH rate is calculated the same as anywhere else. However, if you get to HMX and become cleared, you have the potential (depending on your MOS), to go to either JBAB, which is an extra 2k a month, or go on trips, which has per diem relative to where you are.

Gunny, I wish I could assist, but I was stationed at the Rifle Range near the FBI Academy on MCB, Quantico; and that was 1973-74! I suggest contacting base housing and asking a SNCO or higher for the straight scoop. I lived off base during my time on the shooting team.
