Does anyone know if there was an ALARACT message about frocking SFC to 1SG based on the fy18 MSG list?

The regulation for enlisted promotions and AR 600-20 provide guidelines on frocking. The 1st O-5 Commander in the Chain of Command can authorize frocking based on promotion list status and slotting by MTOE/TDA PARA LIN #. It’s a simple DA 4187 signed by the BN CDR. Your BN S-1 should know the process and help you with the paperwork.

Thank you sir. Several people were telling me with the new promotion requirement for mlc frocking was only possible with its completion while waiting for a sequence number. Our S1 end calling HRC to debunk this. Thank you for the response.

Thats good to know. I am still awaiting a MLC date as well and am supposed to be taking a Company over at the first of the year.
