I took a hearing test today and I was told I have mild yearling loss (tinnitus) can that get me medically discharged? Or make me non deplorable?

There's a scale that shows how much hearing loss you can have VS time in service. I believe it's in AR 40-501. Quick answer is no, not for you. At your time in service you'd need to be at about 80% loss of hearing. No, you won't be non-deployable, either.

Well what did the hearing test person say? Have you talked to your PCM about your concerns? I don't think it will do either. I know people who have had mild tinnitus. If it got worse possibly. I would go talk to my PCM about it.

Like everyone in Combat Arms or an Artillery unit for any length of time. If you have a multiple deployed combat veteran without significant hearing loss, I haven't met them. Rock music, firearms, explosives and heavy equipment have left me with tinnitus and a fairly significant high frequency hearing loss.
