I was discharged in 2009 what all started it was I pulled my rotor cuff and was going through physical therapy in may to July 2009 July ongoing which would have been through my ship date in Sept. To ait They told me that it was failure to ship on my consuling statement thenI get my discharge papers and it said entry level proformance and conduct. Have try ed getting it changed along with re code and characterization and have been shot down. I was told that I may be able to join 10 years after discharge but it is looking slim.

I'm a little confused. Were you supposed to ship to Basic or were you Split-Option and supposed to ship to AIT? I was Split-Option when I joined the Reserves. I broke my ankle in April 84 and was supposed to ship to AIT in June 84. When I went to MEPS, with my bags packed, with a doctor's note from my orthopedic doctor they pushed my ship date back six weeks. As for whether or not you can enlist, have you talked to a recruiter?

I also was split op suppose to ship to ait and my rsb master Sgt didn't care he pushed me out before I could do anything since I didn't find out I was getting discharged until JuNE 30 and by then he already sent my papers to the general which hits the reason I have been trying to get it changed I was railroaded out before I could get the papers from my doc at th hat time

And yes I have talked to many recruiters and get the run around then told that the person I was working with is no longer working there and they couldn't find my file I have everything to try again but the issue is every recruiting station around me look at me like are you serious.

I have all paper work from discharge. My doctors and anything else they need like a letter of reference and my own letter of knowing I was weak young and uneducated and that I have grown to be strong older and smarter.
