Besides making resolutions that most of never follow through, what are some of your New Years Eve traditions? Do you go somewhere every year? Or do you wear something specific?
I always wanted to spends New Year in a new country each year. Haven't been able to afford that yet. But hoping to start next year!

I am a party animal! NOT!
My wife an I eat a small dinner at one of a few local restaurants with a couple that are very close friends... say good evening... and go home to watch Dick Clark's Rockin New Year... and try to stay awake for midnight... at midnight we kiss... and give thanks that we made it to a new year.
If the adult children are home I don't drink in the event I have to go rescue them... which I have in the past.
Nothing great... but I do get to spend it with my wife and best friend... who are coincidentally the same person.

Most years I get together with a few friends and family and go ice fishing on Lac Vieux Desert, the headwaters of the Wisconsin River. We either go on New Year's Eve or New Year's day. Looks like it's going to be New Year's day this year.

I can't take cold weather well! LOL Don't think I could make it in ice fishing, but I do love going fishing! Only part I miss about Minnesota, all the lakes to go fishing!

I remember when I was stationed overseas our Field Artillery Battalion has a tradition of visiting the Battalion Commander and his wife at their quarters in Blues. It was an interesting tradition. It sure kept most of us LT's from drinking too much the night before
