What's the minimum level of security clearance that you need to apply for 25D?

Can you apply with interim clearance and work on getting higher level clearance before you start the AIT?

You have to have the TS investigation initiated as stated in the reclass packet.

I know this is an old post.
In 1984 a 72E (Combat Telecommunications Center Operator) had to have Top Secret clearance before we could graduate. Which I got.
Then once I was in country FRG, it was upgraded to NATO TOP SECRET. Maintained that until my 2nd and final ETS in 1991.
I had some speeding tickets prior to enlisting. No problem.
