What is the experience of service members transitioning and rejoining society after spending considerable time in the military?
I am still in need of retired military service members to participate in a research study. It will be anonymous so no one will be singled out. If you are interested in assisting a fellow service member, email me [login to see] .
I would greatly appreciate your support!!!

I can't say that it did. While I first exited the active component in 2004, I didn't have much time to go through the process as my exit was the result of a recent stop-loss being lifted. I would be willing to provide you information just the same.

Thanks but I need individuals that have participated in the program to form a study of how the program has provided support.

MSG Don Berry, I just finished up the 5 day TAP program at MacDill AFB. I will be retiring at the end of this year with over 32 years of service. My personal experience with transition programs was positive and a good deal of the information was helpful. Although, the program is not tailored to ones individual situation.
For example; Transitioning service-members might be more interested in civilian job opportunities versus Retiring Service Members might want to know more about VA benefits, disability claims, Tricare and life insurance.
If you are still looking for participants in the study, please let me know and I will send you a test email.

SGM this is why my methodology is generic qualitative because I am looking for themes. My study will focus on the individual perspective of the program. I will not force a particular methodology. I would appreciate your insight for this study.
