Will the Army pay student debt that isn't in the form of a loan?

I was in college for a semester right out of high school. I was very immature and didn't realize the damage I was doing by not attending classes and eventually dropping out. Now, I owe money directly to that university for the meal plan that I used up and dorm room that I occupied. Does the Army have a program that will pay back that student debt? I can't start school without the transcripts from there without paying my balance. I'll be speaking to an academic advisor next week to get further clarification, but I'm very impatient.

No, the loan repayment program is only for programs completed, and only for the cost of the courses and materials. Dorm and food not included. But you are in the army now and have a paycheck. I highly recommend you to start paying before the institution puts a levy on your income. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Why should we pay for anything that the service get use out of? You were not in the service at the time so the debt is your personal problem, not the service's
