Hello,
I recently took the Asvab and scored high enough for the 15T(Attack Helicopter Repairer). I would like to know what’s type of clearance you need for this mos (TS/SCI/SC/Confidential?) and the process for it.(poly/background). And any other information you would like to share!!
I appreciate your time!!!

Say attack helicopter repairer one more time and you don’t deserve your asvab score.

But really, you don’t need any of that. Just finished with the training, tips would be pay attention to detail, don’t allow yourself to cut corners. Do everything the right way now, and instill good habits and practices now while you’re learning to become a tango.

None on a standard blackhawk. You may be submitted for a secret clearance if the command deems it necessary. If so It can be grated very quickly as long as your civilian record is clean. good for 10 years. Have to have a need to know to have acess to classified info though, just because you may get a clearance doesn’t mean you’ll ever see any. some units like I was in required a TS/SBI clearance due to what equipment was installed on my helicopter or the missions your unit does! A great job by the way. Was a crew chief/ flight engineer for 12 straight years.
