A Marine walked into the battery office smoking a joint, walked into the 1st Sgts office and sat down.

I once quit a job at McDs by throwing my uniform shirt on the grill and closing it... After sitting in the lobby for a few minutes I decided that I wanted a shake and went to order a shake. The guy working the register was so amused that he just handed it to me and said that it was on him. I had only been working there for about a day and a half.

Working at the power plant 2001, one day the foreman who was a retired marine, and thought he was still in the marines told me, if you want to quit, then quit.
I looked at him and asked out of spite, "How do I quit?" He blew his top again and said, Go to HR and tell them you quit!"
I turned and said "Ok, I Quit", and started walking to the parking lot. He then asked, Where are you going?, I said I'm going to HR to quit".
He then said, "Wait, Let's talk about this," I kept walking to my truck knowing, that I was the only one certified as a High Pressure Vessel welder at the power plant.
I arrived at HR, the girl asked me what was I doing there, I told her I quit, she asked why, and I told her, that my foreman told me to go to HR and quit. Lol
I was asked to see the director, she asked the same question, and I told her the same thing.
One week later, I was hired by the Department of Education, to take care to over see, a After school learning center, at one of the elementary schools.

That AH, retired marine foreman did me a favor, sitting in a air-condition office, getting more pay. Amen!
