Just received orders to Camp Walker. Does anyone have any information about how life is there at that assignment for those who bring family?

Great area, Korea is a great place. Just don’t stay indoors, get out and travel as much as you can.

Camp Walker is located in Daegu. It is a nice area and has everything you could ask for. Yes you can get a command sponsorship and do 2 years instead of 1. It is a good area for family and the school is located on the housing area. Don't be nervous. It will all be good. Just don't get caught out past curfew and violate any general orders when they are issued and you will be fine.
