An American soldier who abandoned his army unit in 2009 to join the French Foreign Legion has been convicted of desertion and sentenced to four years in prison by the US military.

CPT (Join to see) If he is then 1) he's not registered under his given name, and 2) considering that he was just sentenced a couple weeks ago then even if he is is on RP nobody's going to be able to communicate with him here for years.
