So here is my own situation. I'm about to finish my Master's in Forensic Psychology. I would like to get some info on how I can become an officer within AMEDD. I just hit 13 years of service and am 32 years old. Everything I am finding is for Green to Gold which you use to get your degree or OCS which doesn't give any info for someone with a Master's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

AMEDD recruiters. They are even on facebook and returned all my questions within 24 hours. I am not sure that your degree is a direct feeder degree. Social Workers (LCSW), Clinical, Marriage & Family Therapists (MFT's), Psychiatrists are all coveted. I have a MA in Health Psych/Behavioral Medicine and a BA in Human Services and no bueno. As always, everything changes like underwear, opinions, and ideas so check with them only. Again, AMEDD recruiters only. Congrats and best wishes. Let me know what they say so I can update my intel. .....The FBI will scoop you up with your experience and education. That much I know.

Scotto I am in the Army Enlisted Commissioning Program (AECP) through AMEDD right now. You can contact your local Office recruiter or SFC McDavitt at [login to see] . Last I knew she was the AMMED recruiter for Enlisted Commissioning.
