Reading About Face by David Hackworth and through his stories I started to really get a sense of the weight of trust that Soldiers place in their leaders. When was the first time you got a true sense of that weight?

This wasn't the "weight of command," CPT (Join to see), but when I first made SGT, I felt a special responsibility about being a leader. It was a little scary, but I took that responsibility very seriously and it turned out well.
