So i just transferred from the IRR to the reserves and I am rated at 40% disability, I know I will get 2 days knocked off my disability because of drill. But, will my drill pay be effected ? My recruiter made it sound like I would make less but wouldnt I make more if I just get 2 days knocked off disability and about 300 drill pay?

Also, remember that drill pay is taxable income. Compensation and Pension isn't.

I dont understand why you draw disability and are still able to pull IRR. Disability ratings are supposed to make the soldier unfit for duty because he cannot be deplored when called to active duty.

I broke my thumb and finger. I can still use it and do my MOS. They rated me for it.
Some disability affect your MOS and then it's a discharge.

I would think the severity and ratings would justify if someone was not deployable, also if the category would be temporary(I think it was this), partial and partial permanent. I got a rating and so far no one’s stated I’m undeployable…I may have some conversations coming soon
