Most of all have passed trough the need of getting a job, before or after the military. In my case, the job that pushed me going to the Recruiting Office was as Service Representative in a Bank's calling center. Up to date I still have nightmares about it, that bad was it. In BCT, close to our graduation day, the DS asked us if we would let a loved one join. I said yes, but I wouldn't let anybody, loved or hated, to go working in a calling center!
What was the job that made you join? Or what was the job that made you regret leaving the military?

SGT(P) (Join to see), for me it wasn't a job, but the specter of working in a local furniture mill that motivated me - in a big way - to join the military. I couldn't afford college, and my next best prospect was the town mill. I am SOOO glad I didn't go that route.
