I am currently station in Korea, and I’m going to Fort Stewart in 2 months, but I tried to email branch manager about change duty station, she denied me and no options for me and she said I am priority one assignment.
My questions are what is priority one assignment?
i am going back to states from Korea, is there a program saying If u back from overseas u will be non deployable for 6 months?
And My re-up window open next year FEB, can I re-up and ask for different duty station within station in Fort Stewart only 6 months?
Thanks
Respectfully.

It means the needs of the army. In otherwords, Fort Stewart is short of Soldiers in your MOS.

A priority one assignment is a critical fill for a key unit. That unit could be on mission or slated for one. Either way, priority one means they have serious shortages and HRC has been directed to fill them ASAP. Korea is usually a priority one fill as well.
