I’m so close to entering the AGR program but now I have to wait to clear Finance before I can report to my duty station. The issue is I haven’t been cut orders yet nor have I been contacted by Finance. My report date is in 3 weeks and I have to move from California to Wisconsin. The timeframe is unrealistic and I’m afraid if I miss the report date I will lose the position. Any thoughts?

Did you receive a letter notifying you of your position? If so there should have been a point of contact listed on the letter. Contact them and get clarification if you have concerns about making your stay date. The procedures have changed since I went AGR in 1985, but I am sure that what will be the biggest hurdle is that you are going between two different systems. You must clear the TPU system before you can inprocess into the AGR. Don't hesitate to contact the TPU chain of that is where your finance problem is occurring

Roger that. Thank you CSM! In my case, my case manager contacted me to tell me that I cleared security and that I have to report by 16 Jul, but first I had to clear Finance, and only then would I get my orders.

My first question is how do you have a report date without orders? Other than that, get on the phone with your new unit and explain what is going on. Keep them up to date on everything that happens. They should be able to straighten it out.

Sir, HRC told me I have to report NLT than 16 JUL. I have been on them for weeks now for my orders so I can set up the move in time. I will definitely reach out to my new unit and let them know what’s going on so I don’t get in trouble. I agree that it’s funny that they tell me when I should report by before cutting me my orders. Thank you for the input sir.

You are not alone. I was accessed and went through the exact same process. My report date is July 6th and I just got my orders today. I recommend staying in contact with your HRC Accessions rep. That is how I was able to continue to move the ball forward. As everyone has recommended stay proactive and continue to move things forward. Good luck!

This doesn't make sense to me. If you don't have orders, then you don't have a report date. It's the orders that would give you a report date.
