Are you going through a MAR2 or medical board? there are two different things. Assuming that is a MAR2, the moment your medical profile is updated by your doctor, the office of PEBLO will send your P3 profile to Retention installation. Retention will forward the profile to your unit Career Counselor and he or she will contact you. From the moment the profile is on the hands of the Career Counselor, he or she has up to 14 days to process it. Once all the paperwork is done, he will create a case via the RETAIN system to send it to higher. Once it arrives to HRC Reclassification branch, they have 14 days to process it. The outcome can be three things. One, retain you in your current MOS. Two order you to reclassify into a different MOS and three refer you to the MEB ( medical board) , which is totally different process from the MAR2. For more information contact your BN Career Counselor.

What regulation shows the actual timeline? I found a few regulations for MAR 2 but couldn’t find the timeline. I need it so I can get HRC to get it back in a timely manner.

I went through a MAR2. Nothing but medical review mostly. As for the SRB, I believe that was suspended yesterday (7 Sep) so right now you probably will not find any.

You'll receive a bonus if you get an MOS that requires you to add time to your contract and the MOS is eligible for a bonus.
The process is very quick. You'll be asked to request a few MOS's or request to keep your current job. HRC will return a decision
1. Retain your job
2. Refer to MEB
3. A class seat for a new MOS (chosen based on class seats, your qualifications, and physical limitations).

Would I qualify for the kicker even though I'm 21 months out...Or is that only pertaining to the 10-15 month window.
