What are your thoughts on this?
Here are some of my thoughts.
1. Ecclesiastically, he out "ranks" most (if not all) of the Catholic Chaplains in the Air Force
2. Being a Bishop of a diocese is a lot of work. Is he going to be able to be both the Bishop for the civilian diocese and fulfill his duties as a Chaplain?
3. In uniform, he falls under the Archdiocese for the Military Services, out of uniform, he is the head of the Fairbanks Diocese.
Regardless, I wish Major Zielinksi/The Most Rev Zielinksi best wishes in his new duties!

When I look at Jesus and his calling and your passion in life drives your purpose and your calling. Many Reservist if you sat down and took an inventory on their lives you would be in awe. I talked to a SFC who is not only married, she is also working on her Ph.D. and volunteering along with taking care of her Mother.
When it is done from the heart and in pure motives God will work it out and we are to move out of the way and let him have his way!!
