I have been told it’s possible, but you would have to commission in one of the basic component branches while still finishing your bachelors degree and then you can request to switch branches your senior year in nursing school?

I saw you want med surf also...if so, you're gonna find existence a whole lot more intellectually opportunistic, I think as an NP, as opposed to staying RN, which means MSM and PhD or DNP or DMS for doctoral level...then too, look at nurse anesthesia, since you're gonna be doing basically the same level of period care...finally look up something little known called certified first assist (CFA), tailored for RNs and NPs as what is termed generally as RN-FA...as a CFA/RM-FA, yid be allowed, as I understand the matter, to close on surgeries, if a surgeon leaves a room, our privileges surgically are seriously expanded...and, if you can get to NP, also termed, veriously, FNP for family stuff, or, also, ARNP, for accredited registered, you'd be able to jamg your own, have yur own DEA number independent of physicians, as opposed to being a PA, generally termed an RPA-C, for registered and certified...I realize you're committed to Army, I get that, I merely thought to suggest the USPHS since the have a use for psych trained RNs and NPs to be assigned to the tri-service world, Army, Navy, USAF, on an agreement for interservice assignment, where you'd be USPHS tasked to them for a minimum of 3 yrs...I didn't realize at first, I think, that, I gather, your at NM Mil Inst, I'd seem you'd listed that, however, I've known of instances where merely because one goes through one svc training doesn't mean one can't try to commission in another, I've known of many instances of that, the del base commander where I was had been Annapolis, he went USAF after finishing...also, my next younger brother was USMMA Kings Point, I commissioned him when he finished, as I was USAF at the time, sevl grads there went Army, USAF, USCG, one even went into NOAA Corps, that I saw with my own eyes, so if they could, maybe you could also, esp if you'd say you'd want to be assigned to Army as part of the USPHS 3 yr agreement thing, you know?

Join this as a student MBR, trust me, it'd be real useful, promise...and would you also think about PA. NP has independent privilege for pharm, PA is under med to sign offz however, I was just curious if you'd given thatnthouyhtz as there's an intersvc PA program Army runs at Ft Sam Houston, if you'd want to look it up...also, USCG usesmits own PAs, the rest of their clinical staff is either USPHS or USCg Auxiliary is also allowed to help clinically, if licensed.....
