Does anyone have any experiences with an Army Internship, Fellowship, and Training With Industry that you'd like to share?

I will be attending a 12 month internship this summer, does anyone have any experiences they would like to share so I can form an idea of what I should expect?

No Sir. I’m a 70K, Health Services Materiel Officer (MEDLOG). I’ll be interning at the US Army Medical Materiel Agency in Fort Detrick, MD. Once complete I will be AQC Level II and PM Level II certified. My utilization tour will be for two years at the Surgeon Generals Office G4. Probably as a PM.

It depends on how much you put into it. I just finished up a TWI with Amazon in Seattle. The leadership gave me an opportunity to serve as a Program Manager for a new robotic module. Had an amazing opportunity to learn how to be a PM on the civilian side while working with a lot brilliant minds and young talented folks. The culture is unique where we wore t-shirt and jeans to work everyday. I balanced it out and spent a lot of time with the family after geo-baching at the Pentagon for a year. Trust me, your TWI/internship experience will give you a unique perspective that will serve you well in your Army career. It will also opened up some doors, too!
