Head to ranger school with a potential school date of Aug 27. I have been taking workouts from the rtb website while also running doing muphs 10 rounds and kit runs with the goal of improving my pushup sit ups cardio and ruck. I'm up here at carson which I think will help as well.

What helped you guys train for ranger school? I don't plan on leavening until I get my tab. What helped you guys prepare for the potential 120 day course?
Thanks

The best advice I got before Ranger school was to take it one task, one objective, and one day at a time. Don't ever worry about what your next task will be but rather the task and objective that is in front of you at the moment.

I would highly recommend focusing on your weaknesses that will be brought to light during RAP Week. For myself it was Land Nav, though the course was/is self correcting foliage (the lack there of), trails, fatigue, and other variables can impact performance. So focus on RAP Week and possibly being studious with the academia that will follow RAP WEEK. RLTW!!

Looking at the graduation records, it seems the most effective way to improve your chances outside of being in the 75th or SOCOM is to attend the Ranger Training Assessment Course at the Army National Guard's Warrior Training Center at Fort Benning. Their Graduation rate rivals the 75th's. I believe that RTAC is open to all services.

Yes, RTAC is a great prep course and I highly recommend trying to get a slot there.
