I joined in Little Rock Arkansas, December 10, 2011. Tomorrow will mark my 3 year anniversary. Joining the military has made me more responsible, a harder worker and a better person. I am currently in ROTC pursuing my Masters Degree and will more then likely commission active duty.

The answer to that is very simple, I want to lead. I don't want to be the guy who tells the lower enlisted to do things that I know negatively affect moral; I want to be the guy who is making the decisions that boost moral and positively affect unit cohesion.

I LOVE Your Response, I've ALWAYS Been A Leader, Even As An E-3.
All Of My Education I Received While Serving In The USAF Through U.S.A.F.I.
& A Few Other Programs Through Colleges, ~ (See Bio) ~ I Was Allowed To Enlisted
On My 17th Birthday ONLY Because I Told The Recruiter "I Have A 10Th Grade Education" As It Was The Minimum In 1961 ~~ BUT I'm A 9TH GRADE DROP OUT, With An 8TH GRADE Education....(But Things Did CHANGE). STAY POSITIVE ~ It Really Pay Off In A BIG WAY.~

I enlisted in the Navy back in September 1990 at Naval Station Subic Bay in the Philippines. This was when the Status Of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the U.S. and the Philippines was still in effect. The Navy promised to show me the world and exotic places, but whenever I asked for Rota Spain, I always end up in far more exotic places like Oakland, CA, Orlando, FL and San Diego, CA. I asked for a tour in Europe but got sent the other way in Okinawa. On my 11th year in service, I got picked up for an AF commission. I asked to be deployed several times but I was told engineers can't do research work in theater...unless it has to do with high velocity copper-clad lead poisoning. I retired in 2012 from the COMSEC community and now working as an Army civilian....to date, I have not been to the exotic places that were promised when I enlisted.

It's funny. After A School they give you a wish list of your top 3 choices of duty station...I asked for a Destroyer or Frigate on the West Coast or Overseas...They gave me a Aircraft Carrier on the East Coast! Grrrr
At least they gave me a billet that called for a C school. Then they didn't send me to the C School. Go Figure!

I guess that's why they call it "Dream On Sheet" when your LPO, the Chief and the Detailer ask you to fill one.
