I love being in the military. It is my calling from God. I am constantly gaining very meaningful and inspirational spiritual insights as I live the life of a "Christian soldier (Airman)" literally and figuratively.
What is the best way to do that without violating operation security?

SSgt Parker-My advice is to allow God to present you with those opportunities through the Holy Spirit. Throughout my career, I cannot count the times that while on a long watch at sea, or sitting on some mountaintop in Afghanistan...discussions between men at arms became discussions on faith. These are always the best and most appropriate times because both the giver and receiver of wisdom are being led...rather than one side "seeking" that interest from the other.
I'm not sure where your concerns involve operations security...unless you're talking about online communication. In that sense, I also don't see a direct intersection between sharing one's thoughts on faith during service...and sensitive details regarding that service.
If your concerns are more centered on perceptions of the Christian community with the services...please allow me to suggest that the strongest witness for Christ is to live a Christian life. As a young officer, I was a horrible person in many respects regarding my Christian walk...to be honest, despite having "Faith"...I'm almost certain that I was never the less "lost". It took a couple of fellow believers and comrades in arms to bring me around...mostly by simply showing their own discipline, morality and commitment.

Ease into a conversation about your beliefs, some people will be open to what you have to say.

I'll give 2 bits of advice. 1) Preach the Gospel at all times. And when necessary use words. 2) Be prepared to offer an answer for your faith at all times but do so with gentleness and respect (1Peter 3:15).
As others have mentioned, being a Christina makes us targets. But that's no reason to shy away form anything. Remember Matthew 5:11-12 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
