In today's society we see "Support our Troops", "We support our Troops", "Re-Post if you support our Troops" all over the place. Why do you think there are rally's and protests for everything from Racism to Government spending but yet we never see any rally's or protests in support of our troops on a large scale?

This is my 2 cents worth:

I think we have established that the majority of our Society does support our troops and our Veterans, the problem lies not in supporting them by words but by supporting them by your actions, your voice, your time and your dollars. It's all well in good to recognize us for the commitment we made to our Country it's another to actually change the way our government treats those who went above and beyond their own needs to protect a whole country. We riot over a single felon who died in Ferguson, we protest for the right to marry who we want to marry, we protest over those who come here illegally and against those who feel that breaking the law is ok. We send millions no Billions of dollars overseas to help those with diseases we don't have here, to help homeless children worlds away, We complain and protest the government, inequality, education or whatever else we feel the need to protest. Have you actually stopped thinking of yourself long enough to wonder what this Country would be like without those Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen protecting that freedom? I see Meme's all the time saying we support our troops, and I thank you for that. I just want to know when there will be a protest for equal or even justifiable rights for veterans. Did you know that more veterans die on the streets of our Country everyday alone and homeless than Illegals in our country? Something for you all to think about
